Q: Are there any computer or network issues/hardware/software that interCOM does NOT handle?
A: No. Our UtiliCOM™ model allows us to provide services and products unique to your needs, even if you are our only client using them. Q: Where does interCOM do business? A: Geographically we service all of North America - which means interCOM personnel will have their boots on the ground at your location. We provide Virtual support via phone, live web cast, and email anywhere in the world. Q: Is there anyone with whom interCOM will NOT do business?
A: Yes. We will not do business with any companies that do business in or with any countries listed on the United States "State Sponsors of Terrorism" list. We will also investigate potential clients unfamiliar to us to determine they have no terrorism ties before engaging in business with them. Q: How long has interCOM been in business?
A: interCOM was formed on February 12, 1996 in a Subway Sandwich Shop in downtown Bryan, Texas. We've been in continuous business ever since. |
Q: What are your hours? A: interCOM is available by phone and email 24/7/365. Our operating hours when we attend to client needs are set by appointment or time alotted during regular business hours wherever the client is located. Typical hours for interCOM are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday, Central Time. Most of this time is pre-scheduled for clients with Service Level Agreements, and first-time or individual needs for other clients are scheduled between these pre-established hours. Q: Where is your office located? A: We do not have a publicly accessible location. We keep our overhead low with our space requirements because we do 99% of our work at our clients' locations. We have a shop in Bryan, Texas where we do system configuration and testing, and our corporate meetings take place with a laptop and a diet Coke. All interCOM personnel have a dedicated office in their home, as well. Q: What are my bottom line reasons for using interCOM?
A: We know you will save money, save time, make money, and be more productive. But you won't know until we sit down and talk about it and do some serious research on your individual needs. Since this sit-down costs you nothing, then we think you should contact us. What's there to luse? |
Q: What are interCOM personnel's qualifications/certifications? A: We're pretty sure CCNA, MCSE, A+ and stuff like that could well be gibberish to you. If they aren't, you probably don't need us. Our qualifications come with the job you need done. Nobody will be assigned to work on your project who is not qualified to handle the work. The certifications we have are the approval, testimonies and continued business of our clients. Q: Do you work on/with Macintosh omputers?
A: Yes. We are one of very few technical service companies that, while 100% Windows ourselves, we readily admit and extoll that Macintosh is a superior system. However, we recognize that Macintosh only holds 3% of the worldwide PC market. We also know that if Macintosh were universally adopted...we'd be out of work! So, yes, we take care of Macintosh systems...when they need it, which is close to never. |
Q: Are you hiring?
A: We're always looking for good people. Sell yourself to us! Q: What is the Average Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow?
A: What do you mean, an African or European Swallow? |
