interCOM today began the formation of a special operation for the residents who call Twin City Properties (TCP) their home away from home.
Beginning this Spring, interCOM will be providing services to residents of properties owned by TCP at a discounted rate, and setting up Internet connections for free upon move-in.
At the same time, interCOM will be a preferred vendor for TCP when it comes to UtiliCOM™ services.
"We've enjoyed working with Doug Pedersen and his staff in the past, and look forward to being able to provide IT services to their tenants at a level of service people have come to expect from Twin City Properties," Managing Partner and interCOM Founder Kristofer Cowles said. "When students and new families move-in, connecting their computers, home network, and Internet is something they don't look forward to but, in today's world, it needs to be done. At the exhorbitant prices ISPs charge to have a technician come out to connect things, we're sure the residents will be happy to see us after a long day of moving in!"
interCOM has formed an alliance with Cartridgeworld BCS to better serve each company's growing client bases.
By introducing clients of one company to the service of the other, each ompany hopes to be able to continue to provide to their clients services that are peripheral to the service they themselves provide but are nonetheless important.
interCOM Managing Partner and Founder, Kristofer Cowles, says, "It just makes sense for us to introduce our clients to a company we trust, especially one such as Cartridgeworld. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Our clients have computers and networks that use printers that need toner and ink. Their clients have printers attached to computers and networks that need servicing and maintenance."
interCOM encourages all clients and friends to visit Cartridgeworld at the Tejas Center at Villa Maria and Texas Avenue in Bryan, or visit them online at www.cartridgeworldbcs.com.
interCOM, a Duck Soup In A Dawg Bowl, LLC Company, announced today the launch of its new web site, version 5.0.
This web site is the fifth full redesign for interCOM in its nearly eleven years in business, with this most recent upgrade taking 18 months from concept to design and build.
"interCOM is not the most trendy company because we focus 100% on our customer service, which is timeless and doesn't follow trends and has been the foundation of good business practices since the first enterprising caveman walked this earth," Company President Kristofer Cowles said. "We have spent the last 18 months surveying clients and non-clients alike regarding how our web site should serve them and future clients, and we have integrated some technologies that weren't used in the past because of their tendency to over-fluff a web site and provide services clients didn't want to use yet."
interCOM's site is designed to answer queries from curious, potential customers who are most likely referred by interCOM's existing customers; and it is also intended to serve the needs of clients who wish to handle support, accounting, and service issues online.
"We're particularly proud of our transaction service that allows customers to pay their bill online and view their invoice online as well," Cowles said. "And for all of our visitors, the Newsletter is an opportunity for interCOM to educate anyone interested in learning enough about computers to keep themselves out of trouble, with no cost for the subscription to this occasional information source."
interCOM 5.0 is the latest incarnation of the web site, jumping from the previous version of 3.5 that had served as an interim site since February of 2005 after the company restructured under the LLC agreement of Duck Soup In A Dawg Bowl, LLC.
interCOM is a Computer & Network Management Services company wholly owned and operated by Duck Soup In A Dawg Bowl, LLC. interCOM provides computer and network support to small- to medium-sized companies that do not have the resources, need, or desire to hire full- or part-time in-house IT staff. interCOM's services include Utility Computing.
